Making Cantonese connection possible, even on the hard days.

Build memories. Share feelings. Strengthen your bond in Cantonese.
The award-winning journal for grown-ups and children to connect through writing, doodles, and conversations.
A few years ago, I noticed something. Despite all my efforts to raise my daughter in Cantonese, we kept switching to English when we wanted to emotionally connect.
And I realized: if Cantonese isn't the language of our hearts, how will she ever truly love it?
The Story Of Us was born from that question. It's a doorway into deeper conversations, into feelings, into memories, in Cantonese.
Becca, along with The Story Of Us journal, hosted five in-person workshops at public libraries across the Greater Toronto Area, bringing Cantonese emotional literacy directly to families.
